My research
I am currently working on my undergraduate research project, on parental care in burying beetles. I will keep the page updated as I make progress this year and let you know the findings! To have a sneak peek at what I've done so far just click the photo below |
Community events
During my time at the University of Exeter's Cornwall Campus I organised and was involved in a number of student-led projects. Many of these projects were community events while others focused more on science communication. I have written about a few of my favourites here |
Communicating science
With the aim of progressing in to academia I am a big supporter of the Athena SWAN charter. During the last 6 months I was involved in the making of a short film about women in science where we interviewed academics in the Cornwall Campus' department |

While at University I have worked with some amazing friends and classmates and would like to recommend their work so please take a look at their work (there's even a link to a BRAND NEW nature magazine, be one of the first to find out about Biosphere) |
About me
I've always loved nature which is why, when it came to choosing a degree, it wasn't a difficult choice to make. I'm now half way through my third year, studying Zoology at the University of Exeter's Cornwall Campus, and am hoping to continue on to a career in research, focusing on animal behaviour.
